My first, but small Animation.

Being an animation major, its important to know how to use programs that produce moving images. I am currently learning about Toon Boom's Harmony at the moment, but have not even touched it before my Animation I class. 

We had a basic assignment - make a bouncing ball. 

Sounds simple right? Yes, simple, however it still requires some work. You need to know where your ball will go, how the ball should be drawing when descending, ascending, and hitting the ground.

I would like to begin this blog by sharing a piece of artwork that I created inspired by Mari Kim's 'Eye Doll' style. She is my favorite artist and learning the components of what makes her art separate from other artists work was an important lesson for my own collection.

Mari Kim is known for her work with 2NE1's "I Hate You" music video and cd cover. Because of the Kpop idol relation, I took a different idol and incorporated that into the art. The girl represented here is Jia from Miss A. She was first known for her bright pink hair in the group's debut song.
